Volunteer

We always need new volunteers. We are a non-profit company and rely on volunteers to carry out our work.

As yet the local groups are very small, consisting of only a handful of individuals. There are plenty of jobs available, and there is scope to fit the right job to your skills and availability.  Most of our work can be done at home in a volunteer's own time, but our Annual Conference needs an active and willing team based in England.

Our voluntary posts are advertised in Gemini Voices as they occur.

We operate by an Equal Opportunities Policy for volunteers, which we hope will be echoed by Womb Twin groups around the world.

We refund volunteers' expenses only by the use of a claim form and availability of receipts.

The various groups around the world will need volunteers to keep things moving, so  take a look and see if there is a group starting in your country of residence.

Our Advisory Panel

We are very grateful to all the people who have already offered us expert advice as we continue to develop our work. There are many areas where we need experts to be available on an occasional basis to ensure that we develop excellent and appropriate services for womb twin survivors.

Expert advice is needed in the following areas:

Twinning / multiple birth / obstetrics / gynaecology / midwifery

Clinical psychology / psychotherapy / mental illness

Parenting / adoption / family therapy / general medicine

Alternative therapies / kinesiology / NET / re-birthing

If you would like to join our advisory panel, please contact us for further information.

Computer - literate volunteers needed!

As we try to keep costs at the minimum by using the Internet whenever we can, we rely heavily on people with some expertise  with computers and the use of the various services on the World Wide Web.

We need people who know about:
  • Facebook
  • Editing pages on this site
  • Using Mail Chimp for our email newsletter
If you are  computer literate, please contact us soon with your offer of voluntary help.

Thank you very much!
